SINGAPORE YOUTH & SOCIAL MEDIA, a research done by SP Media & Communications students.

well, do you know that at least half of the youths in singapore aged 15-34 years old uses the internet for at least 3 hours or more? to be exact 51% of them are doing so.

in addition, 9% of the respondents will reveal their contact numbers and 5% reveals their home address on social networking sites.
is it worrying or not? well, perhaps, i'll give you space to think about it yourself.

& yes, we did that survey. we conducted, collated, analyzed and crosstab the survey findings.
& on 8 dec 2009, we held a media conference inviting the various media to attend our presentation.

well, being in the media conf. team was indeed a very good experience. (of course, minus all the translations difficulties i had to go through) it's a great exposure. stayed back till late at night before the conference and we definitely had a great time together! i think we are kinda more bonded too! ^^

well, 1 great thing about the media conf is that our findings are highlighted in almost all the different newspapers/news channels in singapore! SURIA covered ours( please be more understanding of my malay language during the interview *ehem-ehem*), Channel 8, Channel 5, Today, Mypaper , CNA, 938LIVE, USATODAY, WARNA mediacorp radio, 98.7FM mediacorp radio, Malaysian news and even taiwanese news! it's really a big achievement for us!

i think the experience is really worth it and the hard work paid off!
well, like i've always said before, i'm thankful to be in SP MEDIA & COMMUNICATIONS COURSE and i know i've made the right choice!

hello. i've been really really busy so i'm sorry for my disappearance.미안해요!

& so i went to barcamp on 21st nov at suntec city's IDA office. it's actually a good experience and definitely refreshing. i've never really attended such events so it was definitely a fruitful one for me.

so what is barcampsg? to put it simply, it is just an unconference talks by different people. made any sense? no? okay. it's like an informal conference where people come together to talk about stuff. it doesnt really matter what the topic is about, it's mostly about sharing with the others about your experiences & through that you would hope that your presentations have helped them in one way or another. it's really interesting and you get to network with all sorts of people! you get to know more people, you get to talk to them, you get to stay in contact and lastly you get to learn something from there. so for more information please go to http://www.barcamp.org/BarCampSingapore4 XDDDDD

overall, i think the event was really a success, i mean from the turned up rate, you can see how many people are actually interested in such events. from the point of view of a newbie at barcamp, i can see that these people who turned up have already knew one another from previous events. it could be from the last barcamp or any other similar events. it's really an eye opener i guess.

well, as an 18 years old(kinda very young,really) & also a newbie there, i feel weird. i mean who doesnt right? when you see a sea of people talking to one another like as if they knew everything about them is just plain scary sometimes. of course, i went with my awesome lecturer and seniors and friends, but you still feel out of place sometimes?

but thank god, we kind of fit in after a while. talked to strangers who are now our contacts and knowing that opening your mouth isnt that bad afterall, is really 1 good thing that i've learnt. but once i've started talking, you know im not stopping anytime soon :DD

SO yeah. the whole thing was a really good experience. like to thank @pingkwa for telling the year 2s about it. &&& i've gotten myself a POKEN from there! it's like a thumbdrive but it's not. it's much much cooler!

ONEWORLDAY @SP

well, so sorry for the late update. school is really bad right now.
bad schedule for everything :(

anyway, ONEWORLDAY @SP was a blast. it's like a day for all the countries, nationalities and people of the different racial groups. overall i think the event was a success. the school of business foyer was almost crowded with a sea of people. lol. yeah.

well, they have booth for the different countries and they have a stage for performances!
DMC seniors were performing. it was really GOOD! coursemates were performing too!
REALLY REALLY AWESOME. okay mostly because they were performing to kpop songs :D

okay besides all the booth, i went to make korean paper dolls with my besties :)
good experience. i think pictures speak better than words. enjoys!

Barclays Singapore Open - Golf, Sentosa

Went for a field trip to Barclays Singapore Open at Sentosa today.
i'm loving my TV Studio Management Module XDD

Overall, i shall say that the whole trip was good and beneficial.
Honestly speaking, i think a lot of people around the world is deceived by the media's live coverage, especially for such HUGE + MAJOR sporting events.

We had Mark from World Sport Group to show us around the whole event ground.
so why did i say that people are deceived by the media's live coverage?
well, i dont know. i guess this is my own opinion. i mean, after going through the whole trip,
i realised that working for a "Live" broadcasting event/show would be a terrifying yet an honourable experience for the production crew. there would be a lot of challenges and i'm very sure that planning can almost be defined as 'hell' to them. you need to take a lot of considerations for the whole event.

you need to think about your sponsors. how and where would you place their products/brand names so that the your cameramen can record the whole event and these things at the same time. you need to know where to place your cameramen around so that the best footage can be captured and many others. imagine screwing up a minor part of your event LIVE, what will you receive afterwards?
i bet your PR departments are handling calls from all the various sponsors. & in order for this kind of things to not happen, planning must be a major thing.
well, of course, the people and audiences arent aware of such things. so i guess all of us are fooled by it? maybe not entirely fooled but, partly? everyone knows that to manage an event, planning must be done. but the intensity level will always differ in each event.

Anyway, we went to see where the audio mix, graphic mix, commentary, engineering, video editing, media and many other rooms that plays a major part in transmitting the perfect video of the live coverage on our tv set.

the equipment involved were just too overwhelming. the sound desk, different boards, the buttons on them, the cables and more.
we also learnt about how they transmit their coverage to the different parts of the world via satellite.
i dont know how they can manage such equipments.
it's really impressive and first hand experience (looking at them in front of your eyes) is just too WOW. lol.

& Mark said something,

"How & Where you place your camera is very important because at the end of the day, it's all about telling a story to your audience and people who are watching."

well, i guess, everything revolves around the word "STORY" in media :)

As for Barclays Singapore Open golf event itself, we didnt really get to see much because we were focusing more on the media side. took some photos though :)

MARK WAID, EDITOR-IN-CHIEF OF BOOM! COMICS

well, i'm sure most of you have read/watched the comic characters such as The flash, Captain America and Superman on tv or read it from a comic book before.
The newer generations wouldnt be as interested about Captain America right? but the older ones will say that it was part of their childhood.

& yes they were part of my childhood too (eventhough most of my frens argued that i have no childhood and went straight to be an "ajumma"(aunty) after being born)

ohwell, so yeah.

Mark Waid, he used to write for DC comics and Marvel comics before being an editor of his own comics company-Boom!
& please, it is just unfortunate that he has to promote his company's name (Boom!) this month at the Singapore's writers festival right after the BOOMZ incident in singapore. yes, i'm talking about Ris Low. but let's forget about her okay?

So he came down to Singapore polytechnic to give a talk to the students about his works. it was kinda nice. personally, i cant really hear him at first. perhaps, it's because i'm sitting way at the back? i'm not sure. i have to get used to his way of talking too before understanding the whole conversation :D

Generally, his talks were kind of amazing. after a while, i gathered that Mark Waid is indeed a very frank and friendly person. he has this aura? that makes the crowd feel at ease? do i make sense? lol.

after sitting in for that almost 2hrs talk, i've learnt 2 new things.

1. Comics has it's own language. you cant incoporate a tv/movies angles into a comics strip. it wont work. the things that might be good for comics would not be as good for the tv/movies and vice versa.

2. a story is : "SOMEONE WANTS SOMETHING. BUT SOMETHING IS IN THE WAY." yup. a direct quote from Mark Waid himself :D

& of course after that, we took pictures with him!

going to a polytechnic is really awesome because you get to meet a lot of people! and visit nice places :D

Sunday + DOVE GO FRESH, OGILVY

At about 1.30pm, i ended my tutoring. there goes my sedentary job. not that bad,actually.
left with 1 O level student and i'm done. it's sad because it means that i will not be earning money after Os. ohwell, let's think about it later.

at about 2plus, i went to the library to borrow some books that i dont even know if i can finish reading. but it's okay :)
at least i made an effort to borrow books.
just finished my korean homework. i think i need to write nicer.
my alphabets are horrendous looking. it's TOO BIG.

anyway, the picture about was taken about 2 weeks ago? i think.
i cant really remember. went for #Dovegofresh event at Lasalle school with my peeps.
it's to promote their new peach body shampoo. as you can see the package is in orange.

i'm using their product now. one thing i love about it, is the smell! the fragant! the smell of peach all over the bathroom :)
& yes it's refreshing.

well, the whole event was organised by ogilvy and dove, i believe. it was a nice event.
we were taught on "scrapbooking" on our small dove bottle.
papermarket were there to kinda help and guide us along.

LEE MIN HO AT PLAZA SINGAPURA!

so today is a saturday, when most teens are going out and enjoying, me and my friends went home early from dhoby ghaut moaning. :(
well, the day started off well. met up with syaf, sean and loges at P.S.

Lee min ho was supposed to be there at Etude house by 4pm but he wasn't there!at about 4plus, the security personnels were shouting and screaming their lungs out to the HUGE, OVERWHELMING, NOISY, PUSHY, DEMANDING, AND SWEATY CROWD that their IDOL WILL NOT BE COMING.

"This event is cancelled! due to security reasons! your idol will not be coming out! i repeat, this event is cancelled! you will not be seeing your idol!"

Well, there goes all the hearts of the fans. broken into 10736232383643735473 pieces.
it can't be helped. but something was very suspicious about it.the security personnels were all smiling when announcing this HEARTBREAKING,SADDENING,BITTER, AGONIZING AND TRAGIC news.

at first,i thought, Well, why are you guys smiling? will you all resume after the crowds are gone?and then i thought, well, they cant be lying. they will definitely get a sour return if they proceed with the fan meeting after the crowd is a bit better. well, ETUDE PR better be ready!

so yeah, decided to move away from the crowd and the 4 of us went to eat.BBQ CHICKEN at cineleisure. yup, we walked from plaza sing. well, it was fun :)ps: since i changed the blog layout already, i shall blog more :D

well, the main purpose of the whole thing was to introduce to us that Yahoo! will be launching a new homepage by early next year. the whole concept was indeed kinda cool to me!

with the new homepage, you can actually add as many favourites/bookmark a web with it. then it will appear on your yahoo homepage. with that, you can just click that fav/bookmark icon and yahoo will direct you to that website( but you;re still in your yahoo homepage!)

it's like rather than having multiple tabs to view whatever web you want, you can actually preview it on your yahoo homepage itself FIRST or just read from there itself. Cool huh?

somehow i'm excited! LOL.

LOL. does that interest you?

WELL, to speak the truth, im actually quite lazy to update about my life anymore.
lols. i mean. it's either im busy or busy or busy. lol.

so exams are done, FINALLY. & AYG is also done, sadly.
was stationed at swissotel at the main media press centre. it's quite cool actually.
a room full of reporters/journalists/photographers from ASIA. and sad to say, i dont even see 1 korean reporter there.aishhh. however, since swissotel is the hotel for the atheletics so i do see some korean here and there. lol.

too bad, they're all younger than me! all below 17?!?! argghhh.
lol.but it's not like im gonna fall head over heels for them right. i already have my dear kyu in my heart.AHAHA.
it's superbly crazy at how madly in love i am with him and to think that it's almost impossible for whatever to happen just makes it worse.

well, my optimistic dear az said, "sha, dont be too practical! find ways to get to him and not be pessimistic." & I LAUGH AT MY OWN SELF.

so anyhow, back on track, swissotel's food was awesome beyond all awesome. hotel's food are freaking nice. what i love most, their desserts! we got like, black forest cakes, tiramisu, walnut cakes and so many more. i seriously love that place! & not just because of the food. i miss the people there.

From thai reporter who thought travel adapters can be brought to hotel rooms for his personal use, the iran reporter who somehow have a crush on my manager(agnes), the ssc personnels, the photocopier and also the hotel's sweets that i have to replenish every single time. i miss all of them. it's definitely a nice and good experience.

i miss AYG,now.aissshh.

okay, now school. like usual, i will forever emphasis that SCHOOL IS FREAKING HECTIC NOW. yes yes. we got a lot to do. and alot more to come. so why must i bother saying all of this typical stuff. it's a mundane life out there.

the holidays are here, actually, it's gonna be a week since it started. my bad.

well, back for a little update i guess.

realised that i havent really post anything informative about my life, just schedule of hecticness and plain truth. hence, i feel that it's time to give you some more in -depth facts.

so school have been really tough. the stretch from year 1 to year 2 is finally showing. it's really different. the busy schedule that we get is soo stressful sometimes, that it can make one go mad and just laugh at every single thing that passes by him/her. serious.

well, sometimes you feel so weird that you think you need to just stop the whole thing.

& yeah, the only entertainment i have is obviously my kpop music. all news/ videos have to stop sometimes. coz you cant watch while typing some stuffs. so MASS MEDIA RESEARCH (MMR) is not helping much in my "no-life" status. been dead attached to MMR that i think, it could be more than just a CA1 to me. maybe , i can even called it my next BEST FREN, like what i called google docs.

school is just not the best place now. really. minus all my AWESOME FRIENDS. school is not really my place anymore. at least for now..

red cross wise, have not been attending to any red cross based event. except the promotion ceremony on 26 april. yeah, almost a month already... so do i miss red cross? perhaps. i miss TCS and glorious & obvious i MISS SOARERS sooo muccchh. haha.

dont even noe when i'll be free to go down training, seeing that my timetable clashes with training day. it is so damn freaking chickening irritating.

so much for my life. nothing big really happened. only that obviously, i think by now, you already know that im in love :)

well, im not gonna update about life coz too many things happened.
like watching X-MEN ORIGINS for 2 TIMES!(OMG RIGHT!,in cinema somemore!!) ,
watching football with friends at bedok stadium, being pathetic coz of stupid nose and many other things. and im not gonna start at how i think i suck at school, coz i havent been able to do any productive stuff lately. i just need to REVISE MORE.

and so, im just gonna tell you that im going on a HIATUS. not gonna update for the time being, until , im think it's okay to update. meanwhile, im gonna stop all my korean dramas and music too. will just stick to those in my mp3. and no more. and KNEWS will also be abandoned, sadly.
i need to pick up on some stuff and that is way important that all this online stuffs.

*one of these days, we're gonna reach our limits...*

well, im fishing bored now and i dont know what i should do.
i feel that i need to change some part of my life. i think i need to start
taking school more seriously but it's not like school is just another routine for me.
i do take them seriously, but now, instead of getting and maintaining all those grades and gpa standards, i think i need to start collecting useful substance for my portfolio.
As for now, what is in there, is none other than the stuff that i dont even know will be there or not and my dvpa short film project that i did in year 1. and gosh, im year 2 already and i have another 1 MORE YEAR TO GO.
geez.

so now, i think i need to do more. i dont know what, but i guess, i need to take this AYG thing seriously. i need to be a writer/reporter for that event. i need. but well, my writing skills havent really been the best throughout my whole 18 years of life and it often, bores my reader,i think?
well, take this blog,for instance, dont you think my entries are boring and plain. but then again, this is obviously a BLOG. which means a daily routine of one human living on earth. and unfortunately, the human being is me- sha, which apparently doesnt have the best and most exciting life as compared to some. well, seriously, you need to just bare with me.

However, i have never really wanted to be a journalist. ahaha. i know my standards.
but my uncle once said that, if you enter as a journalist, you can most probably do anything after that. right? but wait, iif you think about it rationally, you must go into the media site first. not journalism. and the media site, i dun mean PR or advertising, perhaps, more of the TV and radio sites. and you can actually slowly climb up and be a journalist.well, i've seen some of these people before.

like, Otelli edwards, is that her name? i dont know how to spell,pardon me for that.lols.
i remembered her as one of the 987fm dj when i was like in my late primary school, or early secondary school? and what now? she is one of the news presenter on News tonight on channel 5. well, another suria guy, he used to be in this kid series, and now, he reports news for "Berita jam 8" on suria? who else? hmm.. i dont really know. i think i should be more proactive in this line.

so one thing i'll start doing is be more discipline and read more news and not only those on yahoo news.AHAHAHAH. and books.

awards and promos at rendenvous hotel today.
well, i guess, it was fine except for the sitting arrangements which i totally have no say about it at all. i refuse to explain after this sentence. okay, it was just, "OH MY GOD!" yeah.
you get that,dont you. the good and the bad. you choose.

the whole thing was fine, i guess. and meet up with all those people who i havent seen like more than a month. yeah? there are some who i havent seen more than that actually, well, it's okay.

didnt watch movie with the rest, i went off with the ndp people coz they need to do some stuffs at hq. and then we went to ps and eat desserts. lols. it was a freaking hot day. TOO HOT TO SAY ANYTHING and i feel that my SKIN WAS BURNING SO BADLY THAT I THINK I NEED TO STAY IN A POOL OF MILK TO GET FAIRER! lols., obviously im exaggerating.

okay,so for some weird reasons, i keep pressing the "ctrl" key far too much today.
awfully crazy and my typing suddenly sucks and i hate this period now.
like my flu is here again. suddenly now. wth.
and i still havent wash my rc full uniform and i need it this saturday.
what the hell is wrong with me today?!

&& i spent more than a 100 bucks for a hard disk, external one that is, today.
coz i think i might be needing my own one. and yes. that;s about it.
my nose is giving me trouble and i hate it.

im here to complain and i hate this part right here.

2nd day of school and it was fine.
the thing i love most was the sleeping part. i slept so well yesterday :)
slept at 2am and woke up at 10.15am. heavenly.
class started at 12pm and ended at 5plus.
school's fine i guess, but the crowd is still mind blowing.
especially at the train station.
me and loges, have to like miss 3 CHICKENING TRAIN at jurong east coz the number of passengers was too huge to be commented on. you get what i mean.

& so, i'm still sick.
my flu from yesterday was nowhere near the "farewell"
and it get worse at night. and so i've decided to ditch my korean variety show today to rest.
after this post, im gonna sleep coz i would like to have a longer rest and also because class starts at 8am in the morning tomorrow. and the first class would be media applications. omg, studio 19 in the morning! and will last until 12pm? 4 hrs?!
it better be nice. ahaha. well, i love filming classes anyway.
& yes, i miss final cut pro, but im sure i've forgotten most of the stuffs too.

1st day of wasnt the best day of my life, ever.
you're definitely gonna listen to my complaints, so im warning you right now,
if you dont want, dont read the next paragraph.FULLSTOP.

so to begin with, i only have about 4 hrs of sleeping last night.yeah blame it on my korean addict where i have to watch my fav. variety show. and yes, class starts at 8 am today, coz i have gem which is btw elective module. and yes, me, az and loges, we took personal financial planning. tell me anything about money, im interested. :)
and then lecture starts at 10am. so we need to so called rush to LT17B which is like somewhere in the middle of SP when we are coming from the other side of SP,T7. gosh. then,
we have another lecture, where we need to rush coz it starts at 11am and it's at our cass blk , which is at the other end of the school. omg, i swear, the location sucks when u need to run around. and after that we have LUNCH! and the FREAKING FC 6 WAS PACKED,CROWDED,LIKE SARDINES AND ANTS with the students. coz it's 12pm. and that is the WORST TIME TO HAVE LUNCH IS SP,yes, WORST!
after we have a tutorial, legal system and contracts, quite nice actually. it's a law module.
being a media person you need to be legally literate about the system and laws.
and we ended class before 3pm. went to fc6,less crowded and we discuss about school stuffs and my freaking brother called me like 3 CHICKEN~ING TIMES to ask me where i am and when im gonan reached home. and i was DAMN PISSED. YES, SHA WAS PISSED TODAY. irritating pest.
and so i went home at about 3.50pm leaving 04 in FC6.sorry man. so here;s the end of the quetch.

sooo, let's talk about my korean stuffs. my BOF NOTEBOOKS ARRIVED!
okay, it's more like i go and fetch it myself. and my hart aches at the thought of holding the pen and pressing the ink on the blank page of the bof merch. you noe, it feels sooo sad. hence, i havent write anything in it,yet. AHAHA.
ohh,and WE GOT MARRIED is a korean reality variety show which is DAMN FUNNY. it's about celebs "getting married" with another celeb and they live together and see whether things would work out. and they hhave a mission to accomplish every time and if they are comfortable with one another, perhaps, after the show, they can u noe, date for real. ahaha.
and it's so funny, cute, sweet and irritating at times. AHAHA.
i think i shouldnt watch it anymore coz the guys are too sweet and gentleman and now i think i would expect more from a guy! HAHAH. well, korean guys just appeals to me 200% more than SG guys. ahahahhahaha. okay, so impossible to get a korean bf, but a girl can dream right?
ahah.

well, and yes, i still am in love with lee min ho and how sweet and cute he is. so im putting this video and u should watch it.

here for a short update.
well, whatever it is, im still bored. yes, BORED.

anyhow, went out with my humans today.
ahahaha. it was cool and im dark again. yes. i should just shred this skin of mine and be a new born baby. ohh, actually just get back my skin when i was borned, fair and pure. lols.
shred skin, sounds so much like a snake, YIKES!

AND YES, i've been learning korean! ahah.
well, good news is: i can WRITE, READ AND I KNOW ALL THOSE NUMBERS, CONSONANTS, VOWELS, AND ALPHABETS. the not so good news is, i JUST FREAKING STARTED. SO I HAVE A LOT MORE TO LEARN. and i hope, i will continue learning and understand all of the things so that i dont need to invest my money on korean language when school starts on 20th april. :)

actually, that;s it. im done with updating. i should really sleep now coz i'll be tutoring at 11am tmrw. im gonna die cause im sooo dead tired. my legs might fail me any moments and my head could burst from all this headaches and fatigue. goodnite people.

and so, the tired feeling from saturday's footdrill modular workshop have not fade and

we went badminton~ing in the morning just now. at 9.45am? at the park near my house.

i wish i was in korea,right now.haish. anyhow, im stuck with T-MAX.

A runaway day.

well hello.
i went out on 25th march 09, wednesday. in case you know the date changed after 12.
anyhow, it feels great.
i tour around singapore for a bit with my cuz.lols. mainly the city area, and i do not mean ORCHARD ROAD,fyi.

ohhh, i went around with my NIKON COOLPIX. lols. =)
i just felt like i need to go somewhere, out of singapore, but obviously i cant.
therefore, going to marina bay, raffles place and cityhall area is quite cool,actually.
well, wanted to go to clarke quay also but in the end, we didnt. the night came running at us.

hence, i thought let's pack up and leave. anyhow, i needed to teach my brother maths too.
and so, i took a gazillion photos. and i think it's quite nice.

haha. my photography skills have improved! lols. praising myself =p

Like a star...

well, i wasted my whole day sunday.yeah.
ahaha. i did unproductive stuffs like going to JB with my family and
go everywhere without anything in mind.
no doubt, it feels great (:
i love this feeling when i dont need to think about anything.
where my mind go mindlessly, and absently on everything about life.

Updating about saturday,
being an emcee runner for art fest'09 was not that bad.
it's actually quite fun to do your own stuffs and keeping track of what you need
to do.i feel satisfied whenever i did something that was right.
and vanessa maam was cool too. she's a great emcee, no doubt. =]

anyway, since im bored now, i shall post another of my favourite couple on bof.

well, on another note. i really wanna get out now.
go somewhere nice, like a holiday. whatever. i wanna get out of singapore for a while.

results out and it's fine.
i guess, im happy with it (:

last sem gpa was 3.327. this sem, i improved a lot despite the fact
that the 2nd sem was a killer ,especially towards the end.
with 10 ZILLIONS PROJECTS due back to back and everything elses,
it was a great SHARE OF TORMENT and yet, it became a well received accomplishment.
:)
&& on top of all that, i have to thank Allah for this great results. Alhamdullillah. thank you, god.
Insyaallah, i will do better next sem,amin.

let's talk about other things.
like how i realised that i want to travel a lot, literally, a lot which means like everywhere!
and so, in the morning, i watched this show on OKTO about 2 childrean roaming around in France, Paris. everything looks so good ans i envied those 2 little blessed children.
and yesterday, i watched the prince and me, and i saw Denmark, which is quite nice looking also.
and then, just now, after i watched CH 5, a show that depicts London, i feel like going there myself. and again, i turned to CH U, and i saw this guy, in England! GOD! and the list goes on and on and on and on...
well, of course, KOREA would be the country i will and MUST go one day.

hence, after all this crave for travelling, i've decided(not that i just decided now, it's actually well planned long time ago) that i shall save as much money as i can and go travelling before i grow old, maybe once per year.i have to exposed myself to the world before settling down, which is still a very very unanswerable topic or discussion right now, but ohwell. you get what i mean.
but, i need to find someone who is willing to go with me...
hmmm.... anyone?

time and time again

back from camp.
well, evgrcy camp is still ongoing, it's just me who is out of the camp.
haish, i fell sick. returned home yesterday from fever. it all started from my biggest weakness,
throat. ever since sec3/4 i was sick due to throat infection, it became by biggest weakness.
if strepsil didnt work,it means, im gonna fall sick. and yes, i did.
cab home at about 9plus.

my body temperature was 39.5. for a moment, i thought my brain would be affected.
well, if your body temp is too high, your body might disfunction and your brain would be infected and it could lead to the biggest change in you life. so i was quite worried.
surprisingly, i was still wide awake and full of energy(well, i do feel quite weak, but not weak enough). at home, there were only my mum and my lil brother,both sleeping. my dad was away and my older bro has not return from work. i didnt wanna wake my mum up,so i just "nurse" my own self. drank a gazallion litres of mineral water and several other stuffs that would cool my body temp down. and, i fell asleep. woke up and my body temp was 37.8. feels great.
now i dun have to worry about anything else. so i went to sleep.

well, i like to believe that some angel was nursing me during my sleep, but oh well.
so woke up and was feeling much better, but i felt TERRIBLY WEAK. i couldnt even wake up lah. have to drag myself at 12plus to take a bath and eat medicine. and by 6plus, i went out of my house and back to evgrcy campfire.

gosh, im just thankful that my fever went down in a day. thank you god. alhamdullillah.

and so, met up with a few of soarers in evgrcy.it's great to see them and MS CHUA TZE HOON HAS CHANGED SO MUCHH. AND ALL OF US BLAMED IT ON OPTOMETRY!(correct spelling??? haha)

well, on saturday, me,anton, huiyi and some of glorious were talking to mr sam soo.
so yeah, it was a weird conversation. we were talking about couple, evg students actually and he suddenly said this,
mr sam soo, " your first love/boyfriend/girlfriend will never be the one you end up marrying and the person you love the most, will not be your husband/wife." " you husband/wife is not the person you love the most, they were just there, on the right time, right place for you when you need someone." " you all should explore the world and meet people."
well, is that a fact? or and advice?

i hate the thought of missing evg camp coz im sick.haish.

i've been worse lately.
my laziness is beyond all measures and no words could describe my idle character now.
ever since exams ended and year 1 reached history, i've done nothing productive at all, okay besides all my tutorings. so yeah. im the worse person on earth right now!

on the other hand, i've been hooked up to my korean drama as always.
but this time,it's BOYS OVER FLOWERS korean ver. hahah.
and the main lead caught my eyes badly too.

hello.
it's gonna be a long long long post.
i've been procastinating a lot on blogging. & i dun even noe why.
anyhow, let's start on about today.

it's SHWU YUEH MAAM'S GOODBYE CEREMONY AT CHANGI AIRPORT.
lols.it's not even a ceremony.small gathering.
so after tutoring,when straight out and took 858 there. on the way, met hongzhou,anton, stephen, cham and xinyu. so yeah, we talked abit but the bus was crowded. at yishun, zaidi sir boarded the bus. haha. it feels like the bus is 1/5 own by red cross. lols.

so we reached T1 together and go together. everything was great. =)
shwu yueh maam was crying by 2.15pm. yeah. gave her video ( which everyone keep laughing at me saying i made the video all funny, lols.) and some other things.
yup,will miss her. TCS wont be complete without her and yeah, evg family wouldnt be complete without her. nevermind, 5 months is quite fast and i hope she'll gather all the experience that she could get and come back singapore with a hangzhou's guy. ehem ehem. haha.

so after which, the rest mostly went to eat, except, me,anton, evonne maam, zaidi sir, clarence sir and i dunnoe. took 858 with evonne maam and anton, the others, is MRT? i dunnoe.
haha. yeah. it's quite nice to see all those loves again.

& im wishing for the day to go somewhere too.

me,sean,az and mel went to INTERVIEW ALL AMERICAN REJECTS!
woohooo! yeahh. i met themmm, IN PERSON. damn cool and worth it.
since sean is a fullstop magazine writer and mel's another magazine writer, i believed from hot magazine, we have the VIP PASS to interview them!
HAHAHA.
supposed to interview TYSON RITTER(omg!!! my long lost bf,hahah) but was switched in the last min. sean and i got NICK & MIKE instead, they're cool. and very very nice. mike especially, he makes you feel like they're normal people. no superiority or anything. it changed my perspective about him. yeah, he's dead nice.
nick's great too. he keep on speaking and speaking and speaking about the pranks that they ever did.on the other hand, mel and az, got tyson instead.
haish, no fate liao.

but the stupid PR person was rushing everyone about the interview and so we DIDNT GET TO TAKE ANY PICTURES WITH THEM.
CHICKEN NUGGETS! at least, we chatted with them. =)

and then we went to their concert, and the whole place was rocking.
ahaha. i ahve like several videos but i'll upload it on youtube instead,i guess.

Idea presentation next 3 weeks? and then we're gonna have end sem. exam next 5 weeks? or less.

well, i miss the real part of life. like going out with friends and hanging around.

it's a busy busy busy start! ever since school started on 29th dec 2008, we have been bombarded by a gazilion projects/assignments. it's a heavy load mann!

well, i've promised to write on my new years resolution so
here it is.

Get scholarship from SP in year 2, insyaallah.
Eliminates all "C"s in examinations/projects/assignments.
Read more news and listen to more radio.
Be more hardworking and study more.
Get good grades gpa 3.5 and above and be a happy girl =D
(if not maintain gpa of 3.3)

yeah.that's it. it's more towards academic.

& i realised that i need to work extremely hard for IPRA. I HAVE TO GET A B+ AT LEAST FOR SEMESTER EXAM.

& for IVP, i shall at least get a C+. I DONT WAN A "D" insyaallah, i can make it. and the reasn why C is okay for IVP is because, i have no freaking confidence in that module since ms evelyn keep scaring us.

i met good and lovely kind souls in DMC 1B 04 AND WE ARE CURRENTLY ONE OF THE MOST UNITED CLASS IN DMC! woohoo! and we did well too.

EVGRCY has made me happy all the time. their standards in competitions are rising and we never failed to at least got a top 3 in North District for everything. thanks guys! And GOOOD JOOBB! =)
(but i apologize for not coming down as regularly as i should)

Academic wise, im really happy with my results. everything is in the right track and (most) lecturers rock my world. ahaha. ohh and for news writing test, i got a Distinction!
never see it coming! NEWS WRITING is like a killer of my life. coz my language is not as great as those in my class. furthermore, news writing is just like media writing that we had last sem which certainly makes me nervous. well, thank god. alhamdullillah. =)

well, there's more to 2008 like how it made me to have a "no-life" life due to all the school work and hecticness. but, it's worth it i guess.

i've been mad busy since like sunday.
i was out of the house since then.yeah. every single damn day.

and so, i went to KL with my folks on sunday and we reached home by monday's midnight.
it was okay but i have never liked KL.so dont ask me about any details.
actually, i didnt have the say to speak for myself- i didnt want to go coz my main reason of not wanting to hop in with them was that i want to go red cross.zzzz.
MUM WILL SHOUT.so therefore, let's just go.

and then on tuesday, i went HIKING! hahah
BUKIT TIMAH NATURE RESERVE! i know it's not even very tall but still, it's the tallest in singapore okay!HAHA. considering i've climbed it before during june, it really wasnt a big deal to me. went with syaf and huiyun since the rest prefer shopping centre instead =p
pictures with syaf and huiyun but yeah, im proud to say that i've climbed it TWICE this year!

and today's morning, i went back to school to do some IVP stuffs again.
and guess what? we changed topic again. and this time it's the "BERMUDA TRIANGLE"

but at the same time, when i feel so free, i kinda miss all those hectic schedule.

and so, i was so close to buying myself an ipod nano today.yeah, the new generation. too close too be in sanity. i almost bought myself the ipod due to the price. HAHA. $222 for 8gb. how cheap is that?? compared to $248 which is the usual price. it's a minus 26 bucks!
but, i was considering the zen mozaic at the same time too. that's why i didnt buy any of the mp3. or should i say, havent buy one yet.
im gonna get myself one soon.YEAH SOOOOOON.

instead of the usual $129 for a 4gb zen mozaic, it was $125. 4 bucks off. it's still money,anyhow.
the samsung i wanted so badly, was at $229 for 8gb or 16gb. i dun remember. for 2gb, courts sells it at $179. and so after much, deliberation, i came to a conclusion which is IT'S NOT WORTH IT. eventhough, it has a very attractive complexion. i guess,it's not worth the money.

on the other hand, ipod nano is much cheaper taking into account that it is 8gb but one weakness that it have is that,there's no freaking radio. thus.it's incomplete. zen mozaic, has almost everything except that the colour resolution is not at good as ipod. wth.

and my mind is wondering on its own.

ipod- heck, i have a radio on my hp. i cant use that. price is hell cheaper. BUY IT!

zen mozaic- it's sooo complete! eventhough, the colour is not like ipod, it's not like im gonna watch any video right? or will i? noooo. get a cheaper option with the complete functions.

tomorrow is hari raya haji and sadly to me, it doesnt really feel like a celebration.

most probably, we're going to my mum friend's house. ohwell.
so today has been a very slow day for me. at home almost every minute and i got nothing to say about it. i wanna go to vivocity, orchard road and many other places but i just couldnt bring myself to ask anyone to go with me.lols. yeah, i was that lazy.

it's windy now and weather is really cold. my mum said that usually after the people at mekkah has finished their haji, rain will fall. to wash away their sin. so i guess, perhaps, the whole world today is either windy or rainy today.

TERM 3 has officially ended and now it's the holiday period.however, i prefer to call it the "film week" or "project week" though. since we will be coming back for more of filming so i will have to agree with az that this is a "FAKE HOLIDAY". ahhaa. oh yeah. it really seems to be that way.

we were laughing like no one business.at a point of time, we laugh so loudly that the whole canteen stared at us and giving us the "shhh!!" sounds. lols.
it's not our fault if u all have mid sem test and we,dmc students,doesnt okay!
and to study,u should go to the library and not the CANTEEN! which is fc6,fyi.

damn funny.we were laughing at people.see how desensitized we are. tsk tsk tsk!

MONDAY
*this time, this place, miused,mistake...*

monday morning sucks cause i didnt know that there was no gem.SHARKS!
i woke up so darn early and there's no class.wth! and to think that i slept for 3 freaking hours the day before, instantly drove me insane! such an unreasonably sequence of events! should have just stayed home and skip and sleep. i should have followed my instincts right from the start!
zzzzzzzzzzz.

slacked at fc4 a.k.a koufu afterwards. the aftermath,was such a pain. i wanted to sleep but i couldnt. i mean who sleeps in the middle of the foodcourt righttt???!! it was such a shittee.
eat the usual breakfast and looked at beiling and luiting playing games on facebook. i didnt bring my laptop. and thus, i have to suffer.*sobs*

and when lecture starts, i didnt even care to look at hoe. i just sat and copy the stuffs that are supposed to be copied,without even listening. yeah. i've stopped listening to econs lecture ever since my test ended. I didnt see the need to prioritize on econs now since we have like a zillions of other projects or tests on the week after.might as well do something productive,right?? and yes! i got an A. 82! a distinction! BINGO! alhamdullillah.thank you god.

and during lecture, or was it after, either which, me and az was completed engrossed on religious issues, mainly christianity, judaism and islam. so we when "researching" for it. too bad Biz IT library doesnt have a religion sector,all of those can only be found in the main library which is so IRRITATINGLY far away from our blk. so we got online.

anyhow, we ate pizza hut for lunch.$7.20 gone! lols. but worth it. pizza, drink and soup and yeah SERVICE CHARGE/ GST?

i woke up thinking that i overslept,but indeed,i didnt!
ahha. i overslept yesterday and there's a good chance of me oversleeping everytime in this semester.haha.ohwells, that's not the highlight of the day.

the highlight is: MY TOE(the one next to the baby toe?) is bruised. i knocked on my side chair in the morning and it hurts so badly since then. i've tried moving it and it seems to move. so im not expecting any fractures but still, why the hell does it have to hurt soo muchhhhh.
even the basic walking actions make my injured toe hurts.WTH. and tmrw, i have to wear a covered shoe! just not my luck..

Monday isnt sso blue afterall. couldnt wake up in the morning and wanted badly to miss or should i say escape the GEM class, which is by the way; non verbal communication- body language class. oh my god, 8 o'clock classes are such a pain man!

nevertheless, i still dragged myself to school. freaking tired from yesterday "raye~ing" with my secondary school peeps. =]

well, it was a great feeling. meeting all those crazy bunch is another fabulous event. ahha!

you couldnt believe how many plasters i wore yesterday!! 5 IN TOTAL!! of course it was spread between the 2 feets of mine. haha. funny. it was the first time this year that i used that much of a plaster in 1 freaking day. ohwells. =p

so let's talk about school. since, i couldnt care much whether im late for sch anot since Lee wouldnt even take concern, so i walked out of my house at about 7.05am? and reached school by 7.45am. i wished it was later!! ZZZzz.

well. it's the last 2 days of fasting.

gosh time flies man. the feeling is still fine.

not overly excited or anything near.

wednesday will be the mad-rush day. 1st day of raye has never been my favourite day.

i need ro iron the whole family's clothes and i dislike wearing traditional clothes! LOLS.

typical isnt it? actually, it's merely due to the extreme warmth aka HOTNESS plus perspiring,you know. furthermore, all those bits of make-up(not actually, just some lip balm/lipstick and powder) is making me uneasy. HEELS too.

ohwell, why can we just wear jeans!!! HAHAHHA.

F1. haaa!

didnt think that it would be interesting but yeah, IT WAS.

MASSA was so screwed man. pity him. and HAMILTON didnt win 1st place. ohh at least he got the 3rd place. and i couldnt agree more with the crowd, the race was filled with so much drama.

2 car crashed? or was it 3? thank god, they crashed the sides. and all turned up to be in good health.lols. 61 laps was indeed a long long long race. i was "making/doing" the ketupat while watching.. i ddont know what you would think, but i think the track in singapore wasnt as easy as it looks like. if you observe properly, you would see that there are only a few roads/places where the driver can overtake.the rest of the roads are just to narrow or there will be a turn ahead making it harder for the drivers to overtake others. and congratz, the F1 TRACK IN MARINA was indeed very professional looking,considering this is the first time we're hosting the 1st night race for F1.it's really a job well done. and yes, th view was spectacular.haha. i love singapore! =D

(eventhough,the temperature here is veryvery high sometimes =p)

had a DAMN GREAT FABULOUS day today with the girls and the guys!
ohh myy, im starting to love TEACHERS DAY already. =)

meet up with SYAF, SABZ and DIN and went to evg together. feels so good to be with MAK JOYAH & KAMBING LAHH.
in school was nothing much, met up with a few teachers, take funny photos and it's cool. met up with some classmates and yup, nothing could be better than SECONDARY SCHOOL LIFE. gosh,
i miss those days. so yup. after which, we went to eat at banquet.

initially, it was only me, syaf and riya. afterwards, sabz, sufi, amos, zaki and azzizul joined us. not forgetting lyanto, hanhui, farah, khairun, mirah and many others from the other tables.
talked from 1pm to 4.30pm. lols. wonderful.
i simply dont have anything nice words to use. lols.

then, went to hunt for my shoe! i wanna buy a shoe, basically. the whole crowd followed. pressured man. but in the end, the shoe i wanted have left with size 5 and 7.kns. mine is size 6 lahh.zzz

since today is friday, and all secondary school students are dismissed early, i was among these youngsters.lols.i feel so secondary school walking in causeway point at about 1pm. the whole shopping centre are aboout nearly 1/2 filled with students in uniforms. woah, i was once one of them. =) but it wasnt on fridays thou.
we have red cross trainings on friday. funny how i loved the feeling of walking home with all the besties and crack jokes(nonsensical ones especially) and finally, we ended up laughing at ourselves. oh wells. looking on the bright side, seconadry sch O levels Stress and REMEDIALS are finally over and done with.YAY! didnt go for db class today. was having a slight headache and i skipped it.
so went to school at about 12pm and went to lecture. lols.

okay.that's it.

hmm.to think about it now, i realised that i have a few projects/assignments to complete before next week.
zzzz. DB,IMW,CD,OC and others? i think.
ohwell. i just feel like slacking like mad.really2 slack. do nothing. watch dramas over dramas.
talk on the phone for long hours.and do many other things just to waste time.
just like in my secondary sch days...
it was fun and it was also not a very gd idea.
lols.i remembered how my grades fell,eventhou not as bad,it was still not i was supposed to attain.i remembered how i only think of fun and everything else but never the real and serious issue about academic.haha. i was so dumb back then.funny how things turned up to be.
lols. then when i have had enough fun, and when everything wasnt as fun anymore,i changed.
be soo serious on everything. never to play around.lols. i learnt my lesson. but yeah, it was fun man.

little friday night and im home =)
there's no better place than home,i guess.
ohwells. i've decided to slack my weekends. i need a break.
find some love from the air and find some M&Ms in my room!
lols. yes. perhaps, im just gonna play around with photoshop for my design basic thingy.
i came out with a concept, hopefully, it's good enough.

and yeah, some random things came to my mind, just now.
like how i miss my secondary school uniform. eventhough, it's not the PRETTIEST to wear but still, it gives me the sense of identity.
gosh, i miss evg man. and i love evg sooo mucchhh.
im proud to say that i was once an EVGians man!
&& I MISS ALL THE PEEPS THEREEE.
couldnt believe that it's already nearing to August and im still missing evg that much.
there's so much memories that i cant erase or bear to erase them eventhough, it's not really very nice. but still, i found love with everyone there.

ohh and my headache is getting better. there was hardly a headache for me today.
only abit and a while and some neckache and everything went smoothly. hopefully, my whole head torment would end soon. and yes, im listening to songs again.

ICP was great, 47/50 and ITB was even better, 70/100.

alhamdullillah.thanks to god. i tot i would have failed my ITB.

we're talking about excel here and yes MICROSOFT EXCEL IS NOT AS SIMPLE U THOUGHT IT IS. ohh and had this IMW test.

oh my god.i felt totally tired today.
in the morning,thought of skipping class.but i didnt. i SWEAR if it was a lecture early in the freaking morning, i wouldnt even care less.i wouldnt even give it a second thought!
lols.

dead tired for whatever reason, i dont even hav a clue. DB was unexpectingly interesting.
we LEARNT about COLOURS! and it's actually essential for those who are thinking of getting into the advertising segment.yup.colours was indeed very very INTERESTING! =D

after which, FOM lectures was okay. i simply love the ADVERTISING chapter lahh. the budget lah, message decisions lah, the media decisions and many others. kenneth lee was indeed quite okay. ICP WAS SUPER NOISY. couldnt really concentrate.the whole lecture hall was filled and full of communications.lols.INTRODUCTION TO COMMUNICATIONS PRINCIPALS.isee isee.

1ST YEAR SOARERS! ANNIVERSARY FROM PASSED OUT PARADE.

*to lead is not to stand behind,but beside..*

13th july, the day of when SOARERS! stepped down as an NCO and also officially passed out as a red cross cadets in evg. we did everything together overcome any obtacles and led evgrcy to greater heights regardless of the presence of the VIs or not. through everything, we learn, we cry, we laugh, we play, we complain, we gossip, we LOVE and we grow together.. it seems and feels like it was only yesterday when we lead the unit. but actually, 1 year has passed.

lols.the 1st paragraph is a bit formal but yes, i think it's needed for those who dont know nor understand soarers.

YES.we went OUT TODAY. WOOHOOO.

but not all came, some due to other commitments and other reasons.

it feels great and yes, we had fun together.

we went all the way to popeye's chicken and biscuit to eat a FULL LUNCH and then headed to MARINA SQUARE.lols.

i shall not say more.

it's just pure love and it was nice seeing SYAF AGAIN.(after so long,KAWANKU!! =p)

ITB EXCEL is just WEIRD.the test was okay i guess. but, i think the highest i could get is a PASS.yes.A "D". a pass will be okay i guess. no high hopes. really out in my best effort for it.
